Id give you Minnesota's 2023 3rd for Bear, but I don't think his stock has risen that much since you bought him with a 5th.

That's fair, I debated between a 2nd and 3rd but felt like if a team had a surplus they may be willing to do a 2nd. Also feel like if the pick was gonna be in 2024 it would have to be a 2nd instead of a 3rd in 2023

VAN could add more but I feel like STL wants to move Parayko and VAN would love to bring him in to pair with Hughes.

In what world does STL even consider this absolute trash offer?

If the blues wanted to move Parayko they would want a much better package than this. Your offering a winger which we already have plenty of, a meh to bad defensemen, a prospect who has failed to do anything in the league and is closer to a AHL player, and a 3rd. That's a really bad package for stl. The packages they wanted from teams included a young defensemen back that has top 4 upside along with other things. At least that's what the blues Athletic reporter said.

Van would have to add a couple firsts to that
One to take the cap dumps
Then the ones to pay for Parayko

I discussed this with you in the last thread. But you can’t possibly rationalize that this is appealing at all to the Blues. We’re adding more salary for next season to have a gaping hole on RD one of the hardest positions to fill for the foreseeable future. To take on Garland who probably has a net zero value, assuming a team isn’t planning on competing during the length of his contract.

You’re asking us to get much much worse for multiple years for a 3rd (let’s say pick 80 in 24) and giving us no real hope or plan of competing in 3-5 seasons. It’s not realistic, nor appetizing at all for the Blues.
