I like the idea of Seattle getting a player like DubCat, but a trade like this isn't Ron Francis's M.O.

Since he became the Hurricanes GM in 2014, he has never traded a 1st round pick (He's only ever acquired 1 as well), and the two most notable players that he's ever traded for are Bjorkstrand (Last offseason), and Teuvo Teravainen in 2016.

He is the anti-Vegas.

Agree. I don’t think Cat is what you’re missing here. D and better goalie are needed.

I'd do DeBrincat for Gourde + Bjorkstrand but huge pipedream I guess

Could we add Brannstrom maybe? He has among the best defensive metrics in the league this season
