    Minnesota loves Spacek. I don’t think they’re looking to move him. Colorado probably isn’t moving Toews, and if you’re signing Graves you probably don’t need him. I would be pissed if the Sabres retained half of Olofsson‘s contract and still only got a late third round pick for him, that’s awful.

    You'll need to do better than that for Toews. Look at the Lindholm deal as a starter. You may even need to beat that since the Avs are Cup contenders, whereas the Ducks were not, and they needed to move Lindholm while they still could.

    Mittelstadt is not good enough to move the needle either. You'd need to replace him with someone you won't want to give up. And I'm not sure that would be something Buffalo would do.

    Yeah Buffalo has a better shot at getting Addison then Spacek. Not really sure why Buffalo would trade for a Spacek he is not ready to step into the NHL next year and probably not the year after either.
