So here's just how things will work:

Feel free to negotiate with anyone you wish, however you cannot make trades. So if you work out a deal with anyone I have to approve it first.

So currently I am trying to trade Kevin Miller for a 3rd or a prospect, so if you could ask around that would be great.

So I don't fully understand if there is a winner. Check out the "Winning the GM Game" thread for more details. But basically we pretend to be GM's by making trades, drafting, signing players, etc.

Here's some guidelines for when you are negotiating trades:
1. Try and loose cap space. As you can see we are hard pressed for cap space so when your negotiating always try to be loosing or staying the same cap space wise.
2. Value youth over veterans. I want to build a young team, for example: I'd rather McDavid over Crosby. So when negotiating always try to be getting somebody young and talented in return.

So these are just so you know were I'm aiming to bring this team. Good luck, and have fun!

We have so much Players on the nhl roster of the canadiens that why we are over the cap.. But this is just for the other gm's that they See What we have or? But we are Not in really cap problems when we send some prospects down

True, I'll take a look at our cap situation with those players in the minors.

I have an exam right now, so you'll be on your own for a few hours. Also what are your thoughts on Lindberg for a 2nd? Personally I think we should hang onto him, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

This is my plan: trade Danault or Rask for a young line 1 RW. That allows us to move Rakell to line 2 center. So ask him if he's wants Victor Rask or Danault, and then see if we can get a young RW (or LW if there are no LW available).

By the way, you've been a great help so far. I appreciate your commitment, and your filling in for me when I'm gone. Looking forward to making more deals together, also wouldn't be surprised if you get promoted to GM of a team sooner or later.

What do you think about this potential trade: Rakell, Smith-Pelly, and a 3rd for Fabbri, Gauthier, and a 5th.
