You win worst deal I’ve seen on here with that Washington trade, get out from under older money and term just to add a bunch more? Dubois is worth a 1st 2nd and a 3rd ish, not random 1 year rentals ish and a token first. First is a good start and there’s not much to add, but money and age isn’t it, youth or picks.

gallagher could only get traded to Arizona and it would cost mutliple first round picks... so he stay play when healthy and kids play when he is hurt..... for 2 more seasons and thn probably a buyout.... habs will not be able to afford the assets to move him as it would put the rebuild backwards
