Who's ready to pretend teams that lose a lot (but manage to make it past 60 minutes) are good rock on

Seems like a lot to give up for a former 3rd round pick LHD

It's completely bizarre how that was only one game.
Greer slashes the hands. Not significantly perhaps, but enough for Hoffman to take exception and respond in kind, with his own slash to Greer's hands. You slash someone you should expect to get slashed back.
Greer's response to that was a full on crosscheck to the face. There's no arguing that he didn't intend to do exactly what he did. No way to pass that off as a mistake.
Sucker punches have received 1-2 games suspensions. This was a 2-handed sucker punch with a weapon. Just incomprehensible.

And as I’ve pointed out, K’Andre Miller got 3 games for spitting like a month ago, how is a cross-check to the face with a stick not at least equal if not worse than spitting suspension length wise

Feeling some Dallas slander here..... even though they lose a lot past 60, I've got a good feeling that will change come playoffs. Don't sleep on them boys. Jamie n Pavs are on a mission this year....

The Bruins can clinch the Atlantic today, the Devils can clinch a playoff spot and the Habs can be mathematically eliminated today, we're very much in the phase where teams can clinch/be eliminated every day

In the east, the WC race is between the Isles, Pens and Panthers with the Caps, Sabres and Sens all with an outside shot.

In the west, Seattle, Winnipeg and Nashville are battling for the WC spots and the Flames have an outside shot

Speaking of the west Seattle and Nashville play each other tonight and the jets are in LA who are battling the golden knights and stars for the top seed in the western conference

So far in the east the main 6 playoff teams are pretty well established we just need to figure out who the two wildcard teams will be

Similar story out west only the gap between the two wildcard teams and the outsiders are slightly bigger

You're right. They already have Nurse and Broberg. Why would they need an LHD prospect

In Krug’s defense one of those games was 26 penalty minutes. He had a legit fight, aaaand for that fight….

He got a double minor for roughing, a 2 min unsportsmanlike, a 10 min unsportsmanlike, and another 10 min for unsportsmanlike.

It kinda makes sense if you watch it but at the same time it’s a bit overdone imo.

Seattle arguably has the best 4th line in the NHL

Sprong 19 goals 20 assists
Donato 13 goals 11 assists
Tanev 15 goals 18 assists

That production rivals some teams 2nd lines

Sprong shouldn’t even be on the fourth line. He is a top six player. I knew he would breakout once he would have left us

Don't think he cares where he is with that level of production

He's scoring on pace to a top 6 wing being on the 4th line. Pretty impressive

Seattle is made up of undervalued players that other teams didn’t want - and their forward core is still better than most in the NHL.

Sprong, Eberle, Tolvanen, gourde , Mccann all have top 6 impacts this season

Can't believe the Leafs traded for McCann just so Seattle would take him instead of Justin Holl

Dcore and goaltending are the only thing really holding them back from being really scary.

To me maybe they should explore a trade down the road and a buyout then they could rule the pacific.

If I was Francis I would look at adding a true #1 D via trade to their Dcore and then buying out Grubauer.
