Very easy no for Winnipeg. Mailloux is ineligible to play in the NHL and therefore worthless.

Don't think that we'll trade either the pick or Mailloux. The one and only hole in our depth chart is RHD, Mailloux is it, and that pick is projected right around where a handful of RHD prospects are projected to be taken at (Reinbacher/Sandin-Pellikka, take your pick). Don't think that Winnipeg takes a deal this light either as there's not a lot of value in Mailloux given his situation, and the pick is still a question mark. For PLD it would probably cost the first, an active NHL'er like Dvo or Anderson, a prospect(s) such as Roy, Farrell, Mesar, or Beck (Or a combo of 2 of them), plus another couple of picks in the 2nd-4th round range, and even that is kinda light. Intentionally trying to sound like a broken record, but doesnt hurt Montreal to wait for PLD to come to us in free agency.

I have never heard of a C prospect drafted in the 1st round. You are so wrong that you make up designations. There are A and B prospects.

Scott Wheeler even ranked Mailloux ahead of Barron a month ago, Got to bed , kid.

Mailloux was a reach as a 1st round pick then and he's nearly 20 doing nothing all that special in the OHL. I know when the NHL team sucks you start overrating every young guys potential

Mailloux actually wouldve been picked in the top half of the first round if it wasnt for the off ice stuff. Hes also leading the OHL in goals by a dman....in what world is he a c+ prospect? He isnt eligible for the NHL because, as has been stated multiple times by the league they have not been presented with a request to review eligibility and when they are they will do so. that being said would have no interest moving him for dubois as we dont need to go spending assets, depending on where we draft this year probably wont need to be too worried about out future up the middle regardless of whether we eventually sign dubois or not.

No he wouldn't have. This is blatant revisionist history

his midseason ranking was low 40s so at the very least taken 31st wasnt much of a stretch, but i will give you piece, as for the rest your take on him makes zero sense.
