I don't think Minnesota would accept that trade.

The Rangers and Habs will never be trading partners, not when they continuously meet one another in the playoffs. As for your Wild deal, it doesn't really help their expansion draft problems as that's two additional spots they now would need in order to protect Emelin and Byron.

They don't need to protect emelin because he has a garbage contract

1. Don't think VGK will take Plek's contract with only one 2nd rounder. Maybe two second rounders. But that's just my guess and others' speculations.
2. MIN deal might work
3. Stepan deal will work, but I'm not fond of it. We won't have any space to sign Price the following year... Plus you're giving a bit too much. Beaulieu + Lindgren + Davidson + 2nd seems well sufficient imo. I'm just more concerned about cap.
4. Radulov will not sign for 5M, 6M minimum. But Markov might sign for 4M discount, so it all works out either way.

Wild pass.
-They have cheaper in-house options to play bottom pair (Olofsson, Reilly, Foiln).
-Byron would be the 12/13 FWD. Granny, Nino, Parise, Zucker are LWs that are better than him.
-Wild need to shed cap not add it.

yeah wasnt sure about the minny trade they have no picks so help replenish that and thought a 1mill 20 goal scorer might ad some value and doubt vegas picks up emelin so he helps fill out there 5-6 its only 1 year contract even though he is over paid

cap space theirs 3mill more in cap space and it probably will go up again that puts price to 9mill
and why wouldn't vegas take a second rounder they had to get to the cap floor some how and they can trade him to another team and retain 50% contract and get more assets plec is over paid but still a useful 3rd line C there would be interest in him at 3mill
were deep in net that's why i allowed charlie to go beaulieu is kinda a throw in hes done in montreal so his value isn't super high too inconsistent defensively

There is this thing called a Salary Cap.... Not too sure if you heard about it but your team is in cap trouble..... ***** and complain all you want but you will lose 1-2 decent roster players.

Never thought they wouldn't lose at least one good player (Vegas is for sure getting one). I really don't care if it's Spurgeon, Brodin, Scandella, or Granlund it makes the cap workable and the Wild still have a strong roster. Dumba, Zucker, Staal (would hurt the on-ice team the most imo), or Coyle would require other moves.

That was one of my points about the trade being bad was the salary cap. Emlin and Brodin are a wash, and Byron adds $1.1m for a 4th line player cap wise.
