Considering what they got for Trouba a few years back, I dont think it can get higher than that. People giving up the FLAs pick like its nothing are crazy lmao, especially for a guy who'll sign with us anyway in a year.

Imo, I would just wait, but it seems like they want to get a deal done this summer. Kidney is a solid prospect who's been dominating the Q offensively for 2 years and Dvorak is a still young 3C who can score 20 goals.

21 goals and 32 points isnt 5.5m x 4 year production for sure but its also not
11 goals and 27 points for 5.7m bad either by any stretch.

After his injury Josh reset but his production and goal totals were on pace his 1st three years and his last 3 years on either side of his injury year.
Before going down the other night he was on pace for 25-26 goals just shy of his career high.

Its not like Mantha where there's a clear build up to 24-25 goal mark then a decline from 16 , 14 to 11 goals and dropping .
Is Anderson worth all that ? Hell No
That said he's worth a lot more then Mantha

I mean does WSH have to move him ? No
But their fans will never forgive management for wasting Ovechkins last years if they keep him and miss the playoffs again.
That Franchise will never have another Star like him , he atleast deserves to finish his time doing more then Golfing while others play for a Cup
MTL can sit on Anderson for 3 years before he starts to be a piece to big to keep cap wise.

Doubled his Goal scoring numbers and isnt on a 4 year decline .
Post surgery Anderson looks sharp , while Mantha in contrast looks like a guy who needs another one.

We're not worried about selling him for 3 years and even if we did that kinda return isnt possible
Doesnt make Anderson a cap dump just because Mantha is , plus we're not trying to Win Ovi another cup
