TB counters Hayden Fluery for. Luke Hughes. On what planet does Blackwood at that price tag make any Sense at all?!! TB isn't spending more than 900k on a backup goalie.

Habs Definitely Decline. Cole probably laughs so hard at that offer that he changes the rules and becomes an Unrestricted FA, rejoining MTL for free.

New Jersey surprising everyone as a playoff team this year when they weren't expected to even be in a wildcard spot and a fan is calling for a retool.

Retool what? NJ has one of the youngest average ages in the league for their roster, and that's partially thrown askew by a few guys in their early to mid 30s mostly on expiring deals.

I don’t see why Bratt for Caufield would be on the agenda. Bratt has been the better overall player this year and we don’t really need another pick.

Montreal doesn't qualify CC. He becomes an unrestricted free agent.
He signs with Montreal for 1 year. They trade him at the deadline for a couple picks.
He refuses to sign wherever he's traded and signs back in Montreal long term as a UFA again.

No need to change the rules. wink

I don't know what team you're watching but it clearly isn't the Devils if that's your assessment. Need I remind you that we are third in the league?
