Description
The players signed from 2023-24 are signed for 1 year less as they are into the next year here.

Bear bets on himself, get a solid deal after a one year prove it.

Hog - year 2 of his deal

Pod is likely not to see more ice time than Boeser, Garland, Mikheyev, Beauvillier and I think Hog will be more productive next year/get more chances than 4th line
Lindholm eats Allvin's meatballs and signs

Young third pair D competing amongst Woo and Wolanin

Joshua stick around

Boeser expires the following year to address Kuz and Lekkerimaki and Klimovich (Maybe McDonough too) competing for a spot on the wing

I see you've learned nothing from the JT Miller situation with that lindholm contract taking him to age 36/37

No way Lindholm signs for that cheap, Dumba also sucks and would be a terrible idea.

That's how the NHL works besides most recent times where teams skip the bridge and go long term on the young guys. And, we like JT a lot.... nothing outlandish about paying 8m for ppg and stepping up even more after Bo left. He earned it. This isn't a Huberdeau issue.

laugh You're not getting Filip Hronek that cheaply? He's looking at between $7,000,000 to $8,000,000 per. That's one of the reasons why Yzerman traded him. other than the very good return he got.

Ok let's not get carried away. Maybe he gets Weegar territory given cap bump expectation but there's zero chance of 7-8m anywhere. He's also an RFA at expiry so no other team is getting into Hughes $

If he puts up another career year like this one next season, He's easily going to be in the 7m range especially with a major cap increase expected in the next 2 years or so.

Dude how long are we gonna **** on the Miller deal? The guy has 17 points in the last ten games and is on pace for 80+ points, playing a full season. The guy is an absolute beast, so what he shows emotion.

I'd bet $7m that another 40 pt season won't get $7m. Good player but not great. If he were to go bonkers and have a 50 assist season and impact that crappy pk, then sure.

It's not year 1 of those contracts you have to worry about, it's years like 4 thru 8.

Handing out max term contracts to 30 year Olds is almost always a bad idea
