MTL
  1. Dubois, Pierre-Luc [RFA Rights]
WPG
  1. Dvorak, Christian ($2,000,000 retained)
  2. Mailloux, Logan
  3. 2023 1st round pick (FLA)
Additional Details:
Dubois won't get as much as many people think. He's a solid player but not a superstar. Dvorak is a solid 2/3 C and if he's making basically 2.5 mil its a good deal. Controversy aside Mallioux is a solid prospect with top 4 potential, but I can't see him being above Barron or Xhekaj, especially with multiple elite defensemen coming up in the next couple drafts. FLA pick will likely slot around 13-15, but if they win the lottery and hop into the top 5 MTL will keep the pick

  1. Allen, Jake
  2. Anderson, Josh
  3. Edmundson, Joel

  5. Wideman, Chris
Additional Details:
I could see a lot of these guys getting moved. idk what for but I don't see alot of these players being on the roster
3.
MTL
  1. Reilly, Mike
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
I expect the habs to also bring on some bad contracts for picks or prospects. It doesn't mean this trades gonna happen, this is just an example

Mailloux is ineligible to play in the NHL and as such has no value. Change him to Beck or Barron and you should have a competitive offer.

We don't know about Mailloux just yet, im sure there are worst players or orgs (Hawks??) that did worse than that and they still here.

Until he's eligible to play, he has no value unfortunately. Plus his history won't be good for PR in Winnipeg and True North won't want to risk alienating an already apathetic fan base.

I feel like the deal is missing one more asset just for the risk that Mailloux may impose. Maybe kidney can be added and the jets throw in vesalainen as a throw in young player to see what he can do with a new team.

come on Widjammer you know that is just a technicality.. he just has to keep his nose clean and he will be re-instated .. look at e. kane and he still plays...it was not even a crime it was a misdeamenor and you cant stop someone for making a living for that.. as sooon as the habs think he is ready they will meet with Bett, man and he will warn the kid to stay clean and that is all.. but anyway we dont want to trade him and dvorak will not go with retained salary nor does winnipeg need him to as they should be starting their rebuild and moving salary

Cool. Let us know when he's eligible to play. Until then he has zero value. At least to Winnipeg.

no we will take his 25 goals and not trade him to you... this guys is giving up way too much.. just watch... what happens if winnipeg misses the playoffs? What then? These next two weeks are interesting eh? It is true that PLD has 6 pts in the last 17 games when they are fighting for their lives?

    Sure lol

We move out and let players go for a lot of things.
Paying for their crime and being someone very involved with giving back and raising awareness isnt something we condemn.
I mean we let Kassian go at a loss for being a passanger in a drunk driving incident .Let Devante Smith Pelly go for being at a party where Chucky got beat up by his GF and the cops found coke.
DSP didnt do anything just went to his new teammates party and was in tears when he lost his life long dream of playing for MTL but he wasnt the only one as Christian Thomas joined him .

We'll condemn pretty much anyone. . . . Except a Child in a Foreign Nation bet 2000$ by his Teams leaders to take a photo of a chick (back of her head anyways )
Its why the GM was fired and Leadership on the team was changed and what we're not addressing is this kid was a victim too .
Could he have made better choices ? sure
He coulda chose not to go to Sweden and put himself in a vulnerable position under horrible people

Dont worry when he goes to WPG Windjammer will own his mistake .
He just read a headline and ignored Mailloux as a Victim to .
Imagine you're in a new country with a few people who speak english mentoring you and they bet you 2000$ to get a photo of a girl giving you head .
Dude never shoulda went to Sweden ,
On the bright side the fired the GM and got rid of a lot of their roster.

Beck and Barron by themselves is too much for PLD lol, especially if we just have to wait another year to get him for free

yes the the new Gm is doing a fine job just look at the petry for matheson trade what a coup that was when everyone know that petry had asked for a trade right

He had and he had recinded it too
He was stressed out with a Pregnant wife who was losing her **** online at Trudeau for seperating Families during the Pandemic.
He came to a head when Petry just stopped playing for Ducharme which helped lead to Ducharme and Bergavin being fired when they were mid season.
Once the new GM came Petry i think had 24 pts in 31 games once MSL was hired by Hughes .
During the summer he expressed his desire to stay but with the uncertainty of the Pandemic Hughes didnt want to risk Petry Drama sage all over again (even though it was really all his wife )

Petry isnt a bad player its just PIT hasnt learned what MTL fans all know.
Petry played beside exactly 3 Defensman and thrived . While we did cycle literally everyone through playing with him .
Only Benn ,Kulak and Edmundson could give Petry the impact they needed for him to play his style of hockey .

What im saying is for PIT to see Petry thrive you need a Defensive Defensman who has a strong pass and can handle 2v1 and 3v1 odd man rushes when Petry turns over the puck.
There is a few good options out there in the NHL at that role but if it me i know EDM fans keep moving Kulak and he's got Proven Chemistry with Petry playing with him for years.(really Petry was his Mentor)

As good as it looks today Matheson has been injured 3 times this season and while he plays big at home infront of his family in Quebec .
He's just going to get more and more beat up which with his term can become an issue .
Glad we made that trade just saying it didnt come without its risks . Petry the only issue he had was for 44 games i believe it was he just quit playing for his Coach
