Lol. The fact that you think anyone is actually going to pay that insane price for a guy like Miller is laughable. You could be offering Miller and two 1sts for a 7th and the Leafs would decline

A point per game top line forward at 4 million dollars a year? You won't be getting that anywhere. Canucks laugh at this deal from the retention alone

The issue with Miller is that his style of play and term are not attractive to the Leafs. We have enough upfront scoring and should instead be looking to find complimentary wingers that move the puck well. Even though 4 mil for a guy like Miller is more than reasonable, even a 4 mil addition on a cap strapped team like Toronto is a lot. There's a reason guys like Kerfoot and Holl are ousted by Leafs fans. Their money is unnecessary and is better spent elsewhere. Before the Leafs consider adding a long term guy, they need to sort out the Matthews and Nylander extensions.

Style of play as in a pure offensive player. We have Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares, Rielly, and Jarnkrok who all contribute positively offensively to a high degree. Plus, committing 8 years to a guy that has never suited up as a Leaf is dumb

JT Miller > Tavares. You talk about a playoff guy who plays tough and yet you don’t even know how JT Miller plays.
