    just send Hoff and Armia down. why waste a first to dump them when cap space isn't near an issue?

    As per any MTL AGM

    Pens decline hard. There's nothing there worth a 1st to them. Hextall was barely willing to give a 1st for Chycrun lol. He's certainly not giving one for Allen. Not to mention Allen's value has dropped haaaard. Allen isn't even worth a 2nd anymore.

    Agreed. All 8 players added together from Montreal aren't worth a 1st.

    I would agree with the posters above. Allen is (at best) a backup. For slightly more they could probably get Soros.

    Hawks would struggle to say no to that due to the 1st round pick this year but I really struggle to see MTL obtaining that pick from the prior trades.
