All the rumors the Pens were in on Miller turned out to be completely false.

I've seen a few Kuz trades lately. Why are you guys wanting him out? Kuz is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than Boeser.

Question for WSH fans: Is Lapierre considered a bust, or is he still worth a low first/high second?

I'd say he probably has that value right now. The main concern was always injuries but he seems to be healthy this year and has pretty good production this year in the AHL.

If your going off of what Vancouver said, I wouldn't say they were completely false they obviously are gonna shut down anything like that, and they have been known too do stuff like that I believe.

I'm pretty sure Friedman hinted at it when the Granlund trade happened he said "that's a pivot" or something

McM needs a roster spot and Backstrom can’t / isn’t leaving

He’s fine. First year playing in the AHL. I think his potential is still really high. Hershey had a depleted roster due to the Capitals injuries/ players lost to waivers

Lol that’s just not true. Vancouver takes this and runs so ***** fast they break the sound barrier. Stop trying to be idiotically objective for no reason

It was widely reported by all the major Pens writers that it turned out there was not even one discussion about Miller. I have to look this up, but I'm almost positive Hextall said it publicly that there weren't any discussions for Miller. Chychrun was the big name they were in on.

Idk I heard they did ask about him but Miller price tag was too high for how terrible his contract was going to be. they wanted a 1st + Pettersson

Those were all the rumors up until the closing minutes of the deadline. Like up to the final seconds then all the Pens writers were tweeting there were no talks about Miller.

Hawks might take Mantha and that 2nd in exchange for F/C. No chance Caps get a 4th back - at least from the Hawks

Canucks decline. They are looking for players 26 and under, Kuznetsov is on the wrong side of that. They were also looking at moving Boeser to create cap space, if they move him it will be for picks/prospects/players under $2-3 mil. They won't move him and take back a larger contract at the same time, as it defeats the exact purpose of trading him.

“Assuming Vancouver gets a sizable amount for Miller. Pittsburgh I believe was offering a pretty nice package for him” lol that means they freed up 8m in cap besides him

Canucks want to move Brock to clear cap. Tell me how this that does that? Is Kuznetsov a 25 year old C? No. He’s 30. Not a fit. Don’t force trades on us and expect us to take it

Ahh the same Friedman who hinted TB was interested in Schenn he he he he he he that was funny. It is pretty obvious from this TDL Friedman is Vancouvers Schill

There is a difference between keeping a player they already have and acquiring another one… Canucks new management have not acquired anybody over the age of 30 since getting here

You’re the one who said he wouldn’t get anything more than a 5th round pick. I’d trust an insider more than your judgement

I don't think Miller will get moved. If he does, then they've cleared up cap space and have no reason to move Boeser. At that point they'd just keep Boeser instead of moving him too, especially if this is all they can get.

Lapierre's stock has dropped considerably since the draft. Also, if Debrincat would sign for 8x8 then I can't see why OTT would trade him.

Nah man, He's 21 give him two more years before calling him a bust. He's a player with a lot of talent, just has struggled with injuries thus effecting consistency.
