Bobrovsky isn't waiving to go back to Columbus, he couldn't wait to get out of there.

Calgary doesn't have the cap space for Sam Bennett, And why in the hell would they even want him back?

And talk about a garbage offer for Knight and Verhaeghe, Zito would laugh at that return for both players.

And Debrincat isn't taking no 2 x $10,500,000 offer from Florida either. he's going to want full term.

Columbus and Bob both decline. And probably Elvis does too.

For Goaltending reasons alone i say this is a bad direction to build
If you dont got a Starter ready moving Bobo for Reimer back well . . . thats just special.
If you're bringing Reimer in to help Knight that makes sense but as your Starter after all that ?

I think most Owners would fire a GM after blowing up their Goaltending like that and having nothing to show for it.
Last time i remember a team that Special was when VAN traded Luongo and Schneider kissing their SC dreams with the Sedins leading goodbye.
What they got in return wasnt nearly enough to justify what they lost and the time it took to get it back (at which point that goalie left VAN)

Point is for the cost it will take for anyone to take Bobrovsky without RS at 50% , its not worth moving him.
Only situation i can think of is a Josh Anderson or William Karlsson situation where you trade a big contract thats still more consistent then Bobrovsky and it helps a lot .
Then that puny amount FLA is retaining actually means something .

If im MTL i'd kick the tires but unless a 1st and a prospect comes with him there's no upside for a rebuilding team to pay 10.5 to Boborovsky.
BUF is the only team i think would actually pay to acquire him and given their progress of late Bobo might go there given the Defense they got coupled with offensive youth standouts.
