Dead wrong on Murray. The guy is hurt every 5 games. San Jose, a rebuilding team, certainly isn’t giving up anything for him. Give them a 2nd with him and they will take him

I also don't think Bunting would lock himself into $3M for that long. Nick Paul signed 7x$3.15M on the heels of a career-high 32 point season last year - why would Bunting sign for longer, at a lower AAV, when he's got 45 goals and 110 points over 156 GP the last 2 seasons? Mason Marchment got 4X$4.5M last summer for 54 games of unexpected production, I really think Bunting could easily match that in the open market if he wanted to.

Bunting's points are tied to Matthews. He's going to stay in Toronto because he knows where his bread is buttered. I just don't think he's worth signing for 8 years.
