I don't think we'll trade sissons but it is very good value, on the fence on it but we'll pass for now

I don't think Dallas would do that deal. Faksa may not be great value but he plays his part as a good face-off guy and PK guy, which I think is probably why you are trading for him. If they are too move him it's likely because they want the cap space and taking on the less useful Armia wouldn't be worth while for them. I don't think Ylonen makes up the difference in that aspect.
Edmonton likely just keeps Holloway, he hasn't been bad in his short time in the NHL.
Montreal fans can say they have the advantage in n the Dubois negotiations but they don't have to trade him right now. There isn't alot of value in that trade for Winnipeg. The conditions in the picks makes it even less desirable. Gurianov doesn't hold any value and Tuch is meh. Dvorak is hurt until around the start of the season so there is risk involved there, I do feel he has to be a part of the deal though. They would want a good prospect and likely the Florida first. Beck, Kidney, Mailloux or Mesar likely have to be involved or else one of the other higher end young players.
Chicago trade doesn't seem like bad value at all for them.
Nashville trade is good value for them as well, just not sure how they feel about moving Sissons.

For Dubois it's either they take the offer or receive an OS. They won't receive any 2023 1st rounder unless they add to Dubois.

Holloway and Sissons would really be fun to watch with Gally!

Yep I trade for Faksa pk value and faceoff dot prowess. Armia can play like a beast along the wall and is also a great pker. As for Ylonen is shot is something that Dallas would like to add. I could add a 4th too if needed.

As for Edmonton yeah Holloway is good but getting a chance to land Kidney and Kapanen should help them to bite to the offer.

Didn't you hear? PLD is worth your next four 1st round picks as well as one of your kidneys!

Realistically though, I'd take a 2nd for Sissons

Sissons would be a great add to the habs and even if the 2nd is kinda a steep price I think i'm ready to do it.

I see no reason why EDM would give up Holloway for a trio of lesser assets. They're in the business of competing for a Cup and Holloway's ELC and subsequent bridge deal will be vital in that. Kidney is a solid prospect, but both he and Kapanen are likely 2+ years away from even making the NHL so it just doesn't make any sense for EDM.

Jets decline based on not waiting until 25’ for that 1st and requiring to take back DVs CAP hit. They would much rather get a later 1st this year and b prospect (or A prospect and 2nd/3rd) and not take CAP.
Word is, Montreal iGM s more than willing to move FLAs pick this year.
FLA 1st/DV/Beck seems to be the most agreed upon value with most reasonable fans.

The Jets aren'tt trading Dubois for assorted D/E prospects, waiver fodder and a conditional 1st.

If the Hawks think Davidson is a legit prospect, they probably consider this.

I am starting to feel that montreal should save its assets and just wait on dubois. then if he wants 8 mil or more we can just walk away.. We really dont need him . He would be a luxury really.... I am fine with Suzuki and dach and dvorak and Evans with Beck and Kidney in laval and if one of them is ready we can trade dvorak and then slot that player in. remember we have Mesar as well coming so center is no longer a weak position.. and then you can pick two forwards in this years deep draft and get a goalie in the second or third round.... Then we can look at dubois in the off season... Not sure the smart move is to move that flo pick....Remember we drafted caufield at 15 and Guhle at 16 so those are great assets and to give up a player like that for one year of dubois early is asking an awful lot. Plus winnipeg wants two more prospects as well. If they do it it better come with an extension otherwise it will be the worst move of the hughes and gorton era.

as offered here i don't touch the florida 1st cuz i want Reinbacher and since Windjammer always answer the same s*** i've use the long list of condition to shatter is dream of a huge return. I wouldn't trade him either, i'm just pushing the game because i'm fed up with all this noise.

If the Stars move Faksa it should be for cap space. Not a less valuable inflated contract and a b prospect (no offense to Ylonen, have always liked him). Faksa is over paid but plays a valuable role imho. I’d like to see them work Dellandrea or Back into that role and find somewhere to move his cap space, but this swap doesn’t make much sense. Value is fair tho

I hear you .. and mostly silly noise. I have faith that hughes and gorton wont give into outside pressure and make a silly move by trading assets that we cant afford to give up or signing dubois to too much money and throwing the cap structure out the window... We need to work the cap the way that bos and Tampa did and not the way that toronto did... signing Tavares to 11 mil sent their cap out of whack and then they signed matthews and marner to even more money and they have not won a round in the playoffs.. So dubois has to come in under suzuki or dont trade for him.

They aren't going to offer sheet him, that's just not going to happen. Bergevin did that, not Hughes.
I don't think adding a mid pick helps in the Dallas deal. In If they move him it's for cap space, that's all.
Edmonton needs Holloway now, not lesser prospects a few years away.
