Selling kinda low on Primeau, sharks would obviously take a chance on him since he’s so young and has upside.

Kidney and Kapanen need to be upgraded to Beck. Kidney isn't good enough to compensate for Winnipeg getting 2 no value pieces in Kapanen and Dvorak.

I would do Dvorak, Beck and FLD 1st for PLD. That's a fine offer.

I just don't see the upside anymore. I feel like its time to move on from Primeau. No sure what the trade would look like but id imagine something similar to this.

Yup, that would probably be in the running. Providing the Jets are convinced Dvorak's injury recovery is on schedule.

Pens decline. Why should they pay for Edmundson when they could just get someone like Graves who is younger and better for slightly more cap hit.

In fairness, I'm pretty sure (maybe I'm wrong?) that he's waivers eligible next year. Unless the Habs move on from Allen or Monty, which seems unlikely, he'll end up having to pass through.

Edmundson is also a huge risk. His back surgery issue is not something players bounce back from quickly or easily.

My choice for the Pens would be Soucy in the open market.

I think Duclair for Kylington + Schwindt would be a much better target and I’m concerned bringing in either Duclair or Hoffman would take away a spot from Pelletier, Zary, Duehr or Coronato, but given his previous chemistry with Huberdeau and CGY’s lack of Scoring, Hoffman 50% retained might be an okay addition, especially for the PP. Would be even better to get him 75% retained, but what about this:

Vladar FOR Hoffman 50% Retained + Johnathan Kovacevik

That’s true! I’d rather have him too over Edmundson. Soucy and/or Graves and not having to give up assets to do it would be much better for the pens.
