Why would LA want Allen? They'll just resign Korpisalo and ride with Petersen. Plus Quinton Byfield > Allen+2023 6th overall pick. LA passes big time.

Beck+Harris+2025 1st round pick for Deslauriers+Hart. Yeah like Philly takes a 2025 1st that's 3 drafts away. Philly passes as well.

byfield is not happening and we dont want him either....He has huge potential but also could disappoint as he needs development the way slafovsky needs development... each team has there guys..

lots of carter hart trades but i dont think he is much better than montembault who i like. When our young def starts making less mistakes i think monty will look even better... We have one good one now we just need to develop another one .. Could be primeau or Dobes or maybe someone else.... I would not trade significant assets to get a goalie on a expensive contract who is around the league avg in save %.. Rather i would spend a second rounder and get the best goalie in the draft.. So no gibson on Anahiem either. his numbers are not even good and his contract is high... remember we are still paying Price so goalie money needs to be keep down until we can move that contract in 2 years or so
