blues pass. We could get a similar or even better depth forward for free in free agency

I mean he's worth a 5th and for that money if he scores around 10 goals I disagree, your paying a million for a fourth liner or a veteran minimum and no veteran minimum players are signing in st Louis since they're no where near winning. So I disagree

Carlson, Jensen, and TVR on the right. Fehervary, Sandin, and Alexyev on the left. TDA is a nightmare. 10 times better than whatever Philly is gonna throw out there next year. Don’t need to add a 5M dollar problem.

Haha what? Setting aside that they very well could bounce back without any fixing, the Blues never have any trouble signing players, let alone cheap depth. As for the deal, it's a nice offer and all, but fouth line winger is not really a need at the moment. They have other fish to fry. After that fish is fried, maybe. We'll have to see where the roster and cap stand.

I mean you’re completely overthinking a 5th rounder for a fourth liner for a team that is eh

Good joke, yes because they’re all gonna be healthy and good I mean **** you guys are about to be rebuilding too lol worth a good PP guy like Gustafsson and get assets at the deadline but go off I guess. God bless TVR Jensen Fehrevary and Carlson is a sure thing. 😂

Forgot to mention they most certainly are not bouncing back with bad contracts an aging D meh goaltending and not a very good offense. So so sorry for triggering a 5th for a rugged fourth liner who works hard and is absolutely a Berube player

He would be the second best defenseman on that team and it’s not necessarily close 🤡

Not enough for Hayes. If they retain that much it should reflect. A second and a prospect at least

Sorry not being a jerk but first you are over valuing Hayes and second the CBJ fans are against Hayes in any form on this team. We have a glutten of young wingers and don’t have any room as it is. Now if you are going to say he is a center. He won’t play over Boone Jenner as 1C, we hope to be drafting 1-3 OA and getting a NHL center that can slot into the 2C and we still have Jack R, who plays the 2C now for 1 more year (unless traded). On the 3C/4C we have S Kuraly, C Sillinger, D Voronkov (6’4 215lbs 22 yr old and finishing his KHL contract and starting his entry level deal) also by the way plays 2C and his team is in the Finals.

Now as a winger he would have to win out over Gudreau, Laine, Marchenko, Chinnakov, Foudy, Robinson, K Johnson, Texier, Danforth, Bemstrom, Olivier, Plus J Roslovic if we get a pick in 1-3 OA in the draft. Plus rumors or resigning Nyquist, so my point is we need to send bodies out on the wing and I don’t see Hayes better than anyone in out top 6, he isn’t fleet of foot or overly physical, so that takes him out of our top 9.

Again not trying to insult you but that is the what I believe, but that at this point it means nothing.

I understand but A. Portzline beat writer for the CBJ from the Athletic said he has checked into those rumors and they are just rumors.

Carlson and Sandin are already proven PP guys lol, where's the need for TDA? He'd be, at best, a 3rd pairing d-man as his actual defensive ability is abysmal and Jensen and Carlson are both far better at that spot, and TvR just got an extension by being a better defensive asset than TDA has. Meanwhile, Sandin, Fehervary, and Alexeyev aren't going to be replaced as they're developing, young LD and TDA plays the opposite side. It seems you are horribly misinformed as Washington is re-tooling this year for a run next year and will not rebuild with Ovechkin on the roster, so this "rebuilding" nonsense isn't going to happen.

It seems you’re horribly misinformed as Washington cannot re took a non competitive team with constant injuries bad contracts not good D and really sub par goaltending. However go off king
