PLD - 3 way trade

Created by: MTLaveragefan
Team: 2023-24 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 9, 2023
Published: Apr. 9, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Habs trade pieces:
Dvorak
Anderson
LHDs
Florida 2023 1st round pick.
Center prospects
Wingers.

While PLD could be on his way out - WPG have some of the same surplus as us, and might want to rebuild.

Thus LHDs, Anderson and Dvorak might not be as interesting to them compared to other competing teams. So it could be interesting to flip asset to create value for WPG.

The trade below DO NOT represent a three-way trade... I'm way too lazy to figure one out!

But the idea is now out there.

If Meier wants 9M$ + and they aren't willing to pay that.

I mean I would gladly eat the million difference and keep Mantha. HOFF is one of the worst defensive players in the league while also being a terrible possession player. He can shoot and that’s about it

Hoffmans lowest assist total of his career is 19 in 52g, Manthas highest is 24 in 80g... i think the numbers are there if you so choose to look

Cherry picking is cool. 19a 10 on the power play that year. Again he’s terrible defensively and has a shot. Again most Gms are more intelligent and would def look at a complete game and see Hoff glaring issues and his incomplete 200 foot game. 😊

cherry picking is right... so what have you to say about his season this year? he has what, 1 TOTAL pp goal? How's he doing better than mantha on one of the worst teams in the league?

Lol Mantha has been underutilized in Washington. I mean that’s no secret but 24 5v5 points vs 23 is still better in my book. You brought up assist now you are focusing on goals? I said he had a shot? Still has less 5v5 points while having terrible defensive numbers. He’s on a terrible team and getting more ice time? Same reason Domi was on pace for his 2nd best season ever? .82ppg w hawks vs .39ppg w Dallas. Same player but he’s now on a better team. HoW iS tHaT pOsSiBlE
