Some great trades for Winnipeg that won't happen (Buffalo and Winnipeg) and some that are awful for Winnipeg (Habs and Philly)

Could you tell me why the Habs and Philly don't work? I think we need to get Barron in the deal for Dubois and Gallagher is the kind of player the jets could use. The Jets lack grit. He is hurt a lot, but he is very good at being a pest. Plus we would be able to take on the contract.

In the Philly trade, I feel like Scheifele will have high value, Perfetti, hurt a lot his first couple of seasons, but shows promise when playing. Konecky is having a career year, but is it sustainable. The big piece coming back for Winnipeg Is Provo.

The Islanders just aren't trading Barzal.

Gallagher is not worth his contract now and certainly won't be in the future. Barron and the first is fine, and Montreal can afford Gallagher.
Provo....he's OK but no great bargain at 6.5m for two years. Certainly not worth giving up a cost effective Perfetti who the Jets will need at centre. Scheifele doesn't have that much value to Philly as a one year rental. Don't know if Schefiele even waives to poor team. Konecky and his two years probably have more trade value to the right team that Schef.

A former 1st, two 1sts and a rental dman they can probably flip for at least a 3rd, while those are pretty good assets the Islanders are trying to contend now so why would they trade Barzal, just not sure what they'd really move him for.

Mark Scheifele isn't waiving for Philly, No reason for him to waive for a begnning rebuilding team.
And i'm pretty sure that Arizona isn't on Blake Wheelers 4 team trade list.
Yeah Buffalo isn't trading Owen Power for Connor Hellebuyck, And very doubtful Hellebuyck would even commit long term with Buffalo.
Detroit passes, We don't need LD in Nate Schmidt. We already have both Chiarot and Maatta who can play RD if need be.
Winnipeg passes, Not even close to getting Pierre-Luc Dubois out of Winnipeg.
And LOL Mathew Barzal isn't going anywhere. And you're not even in the ballpark for him anyways.

Detroit has zero interest in Schmidt. Easy pass.
