Yeah that's an easy no for the blues. Blues don't need Rust. We need to improve our defense and this makes it so much worse.

Few thoughts:

Rust needs to waive his NMC, and I'm guessing he'd want to go to a contender, not the blues. Also don't think he benefits the blues.

I'm going to guess the bolts try and work something out with Killorn so that may be difficult.

Not sure if Raanta is the option, backup yes, starter no. He hasn't played more than 40games since 17/18. The starter needs to be able to handle a 40-50game workload.

Would also take Zucker back over Tatar, rest is fine.

I think the Hawks bite. Pretty big hole at C with Toews future undecided (at best). Why not take 1 year of Granlund at 5 million to buy a 2nd and 3rd? Hawks can give him top 6 and PP time (who else are the giving it to)? and I would think he bounces back to historic norm of being a 40-50 point player and you can retain and flip him for something more at the deadline (Pens just paid a 2nd for him 2 months ago with another year left on his contract). I'm not paying anything to take him and I want compensation at this point....and a 2nd and 3rd is fair to take on 5 million.

TWO YEARS of Granlund at a $5M cap hit and a total of $11M in actual salary owed. Granlund who is an awful pure cap dump. I'm not into it.

That's a funny way for the Blues to try to improve their defense.

Carter has a full No move, he can’t be assigned to the A.

You are correct. I mislooked and thought only 1 year was left. Zero chance that is enough for 2 years. Need at the least another 2nd and probably a bit more given 11 million in actual money.

You made the team worse and you stuck us with an imaginary buyout that can’t happen and burying Carter which can’t happen. Then you signed a bunch of aging players to add to our nursing home team. This is a disaster.

Actually it’s worse and it’s clear this person wasn’t rebuilding. It’s the worst ACGM I’ve seen in a long time.

Understandable. At first glance I was just kind of like "whatever". But then I remembered how awful Granlund has been and looked at his contract and was like "no way, Jose" haha
