-Minnesota does not have the cap for Brock Boeser - I don't think they'd take him on even with 50% retention.

-Isles don't have the cap space to bring on a guy with a $6M AAV to play RD3 - and even if they did, they're not paying to take him off your hands.

Hell no, Miller isn't getting traded for anything less than two firsts and a top prospect. You don't just get rid of a guy that's a point per game and an elite player just because Thomas Drance thinks he's toxic and is absolutely certain on the idea that his contract won't age well.

At 50% retention I would think the Wild at least explore the idea in the offseason, but I doubt Van would retain for just Steel and a 2nd, so I would ask if Steel, Addison and 2nd would get Boeser at 50%? Maybe drop the 2nd to a 3rd....not sure of the value your thoughts?
