I was thinking the same but having a usable backup will allow the bolts to rest vasy more in the regular season keeping him fresher for playoffs.

The Wild don't have a need for Hanifin and wont be trading Rossi anytime soon (unless its in a package for McDavid or another high end center) so the Wild will pass.

It will be interesting to see if Gaudreau tests FA or just re-signs with the Wild its pretty certain the Wild will offer a contract, but probably not as much as he could get in the open market we will see I guess...

That's fair, I think the Wild are the only team that high on Rossi... Dumba is up at the end of the year so getting hannifan improves that position along with the ability to extend him after the season.

The problem with that is you'd have to fight Vasy. Elliot has played a lot better than numbers would indicate. TB got 25 points with Elliot in there out of 38 a ..579 point % they probably bring Alnfelt up for game days next year and send him down on off days if they can dump Seabrook's contract. Raddysh has played very well and TB is good on that contract. I'd think they may counter how about the Hawks 4 next year for Vladar.

Yeah they just signed Faber to replace Dumba, now Faber has only played one game so who knows but he sure looks the part and looked very good in his debut.

Not sure why Calgary does this, but Hawks might consider this. Might take a little more on the Calgary side, but there could be something here.
