Dallas doesn't think about moving Robertson unless the Habs are trading the #1 pick. The Habs don't think about trading away their 1st Round Pick if it's #1 overall.

Doesn't work either way.

As much as I love Robertson, think of it like this: We are giving up 80 points in Nick Suzuki, 90 points in Will Smith (probably), and another 50 points for a 110-120 Point Player. It's double Robertson's points, plus giving up our 1C & captain, and future 1C

Counting chickens before they're hatched. Suzuki hasn't scored more than 65 points in a season yet. Smith isn't even in the NHL yet and hasn't produced more than 1 PPG in the USHL. Robertson on the other hand got 41 and 46 goals the last 2 years and 109 points this year. More goals and more points this year than Suzuki and Smith combined.

90 points for Smith ….when , 6-8 years from now ? even that is a stretch . Talk about setting the bar too high for as young player.
