What if this draft class is perceived as good because a limited number of fortunate individuals were able to keep playing hockey during the coronavirus event, and now those individuals are substantially better than their peers, but are actually behind previous draft classes in terms of development. This exists for two reasons, because coronavirus impacted them to some degree, and also, because their competition was very low having taken a year plus off.
It would be quite easy to dominate if your competition was half what it used to be, eh?
