3 Years $800K per season for Tarasenko and 2 years $800K per season for Kane??? What world are you living in?

Yeah best case dream scenario is both Kane & Tarasenko take cheap deals to stay. Your figure on Laffy is slightly too low. Gotta think he'll be pushing 3m. If NYR really want to keep Kane/Senko, a Goodrow buyout is almost a necessity.

go ahead and be prepared not to have Laffy next year. there is no way you are able to keep Miller and Laffy with the cap space you have available. Unless you trade Kreider and can sign 3 depth guys for a mil a piece.

Can you show me how they can't keep Miller and Laffy and I will show you how they can 😉

I'm not impressed with Kane (even for this ridiculous amount) and Tarasenko gets 6 M anywhere else and isn't doing this.
First priority will be resigning Lafft and Miller.

Ok, let's see. you have 10 mil in cap space with 8-9 Forwards, 5 Defensemen and 1 Goalie (2 assuming you desire to have Domingue as the actual backup goalie)

If you think you are getting Miller for less than 7 mil, I'll go ahead and stop wasting my time on this argument now. I think BEST CASE you get Laffy on a 2 year bridge for 3-3.5 mil. Thats of course assuming that another team doesnt offer him 5 mil. so there's your 10 mil and you still need several more players. Your turn.

Buyout Goodrow 😉, and Miller will go for less than Chytil. Also they will both be signed before any of this offersheet nonsense 🙄

I'd love to bet you on your Miller salary expectation. less than Chytil, you are insane.

that is what I heard from all NYR fans and NYR media, that Chytil was the biggest contract as far as cap hit to resign. But I guess we will see...

Also, it is not like K'Andre Miller is worth 7 M cap hit, he isn't that great. 90 % of his game is very good, but he does these really minor league mistakes/blunders where you really question if it is a NHL player.

But we will see who looks the fool smile

Well, there are a lot of other teams who when he doesnt sign that 4 mil contract you mention will offer him more and you can recoup some draft picks for him.
