Description
if i went light on the UFA deals, there's 7 million more you can allocate. going into the season with that defence is high risk high reward but I think that forechecking bottom 6 would really dominate defensively which would help.

If you're going to leave 7mil in cap space there's no reason to buyout Petry.

You can't buyout Carter, so that doesn't work.

I'd buy out Granlund, don't think anyone takes that.

I'd also keep Petry over Rutta and Chad lol.

I mean you technically can buyout Carter, there is just 0 cap relief. If Carter is going to be a prick and not waive his clauses, new GM can take the loss and get a younger player on the roster.

Yes, you can buyout it just leaves his cap hit. Pens fans are just going to have to accept that he's playing here next year.
