Canucks easily decline. You're asking for over $24 million in retention over 7 years. That amount of retention alone is worth 2-3 1sts at minimum, then you'd still have to add value for getting a point per game player in Miller at $3.5 mil. All in all, you'd be looking at 4-5 1sts of value minimum, all you've offered here is a cap dump, and ok LHD, and a 2nd. Beyond that, no GM in this league is going to retain such an absurd amount over such a long time, regardless of how smart or dumb they may be. That's just asking to be fired.
