Scheifele is a guy who could get Huberdeau firing again and Hanafin is a big strong Dman that could fill a whole on Winnipeg. In the end, if neither player re-signs. The value is the same at the deadline.

Huberdeau doesn't need more major changes, he just started to settle in by the end.

Boston has 6-7m of cap space with 15 players signed next year. They have to shed 6-10m just sign their own RfAs and fill out the roster with ELCs. Anything after that they have to move out equal amount of salary for whoever they bring in.

Lol when did MTL move on? And when did he move on from wanting to be in MTL? It was literally reported again before playoffs started that both teams were working on a potential deal because it's where he wants to be.
