Don't think this would happen, maybe for Foote though. Canucks right side is already set for next year with Hronek, Bear, Johansson. If a trade is made for Fabbro, then Bear is likely gone since he's the exact same player and will probably make the exact same cap hit.

Johansson will be competing for a spot. Playing in the A for a year with Hirose would be good for their development. Doesn't seem like a long term deal gets done with Bear so a 1 year and maintaining flexibility would be great. They'd have Fabbro and Bear's rights with Johansson potentially knocking on the door. Just a thought ...
