Created by: JTrades
Team: 2022-23 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Apr. 20, 2023
Published: Apr. 20, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I'm a Leafs fan and no joke, it's not good for my mental health. It got me thinking, which team is the most stressful to cheer for? I ranked all 32 teams, 1 being the most stressful (top left) and 32 being the least (bottom right). This is based off of the past 20 years only.

Start top left and work your way down

Let me know what you think!

how do we read this, does it go left to right starting at the coyotes or down from the coyotes moving from LW to C to RW?

I think Montreal should be way higher and the Yotes way lower. Habs fans are like Leafs fans we have high expectations for the team and are often disappointed lol. On the other hand I don't feel like Yotes fans expect much from their team year over year and therefore aren't often stressed out over expectations.

Interesting. I guess the question is which leaves you feeling worse, having no hope for the season or having hope and then being dissapointed

So TB is 12 over the last 20 year they have 3 Stanley Cups, 2 more Cup appearances 3 more conference finals appearances and our 2 worst years got us Hedman and Stamkos. Been a pretty stress free ride

Arizona? Really? The nearly 50 years of prolonged misery I’ve experienced as a Leafs fan has to be above the however many years they’ve existed.

Don’t have expectations, then you can’t be disappointed

I would say having hope just to get is squashed during the season lol. Having no hope to start the season means you can't be let down and thus not as stressful, at least to me lol.

Tampa Bay. Consistently make the playoffs, consistently wins in the playoffs star players very consistent. Very unstressful.

Vancouver Canucks. Terrible GM to terrible GM. Best players very inconsistent, bluneline overpaid and under performing. Coaching carousel. Constantly mortgaging future for underwhelming present. Star goalie frequently hurt. Very very stressful. Possibly top 4 in the league.

Ok that makes being a lightning fan more stressful than 20 other teams really? Maybe the penguins or Chicago less stressful but hell the rangers are more than halfway to their next cup it's been almost 30 years Boston 1 cup in 50 years LA 2 CUPS IN 50 YEARS Vancouver Buffalo zero cups EVER. I truly feel spoiled as a lightning fan not stressed

Jackets should be in the left column. The amount of bull**** you have to hear from everyone around the league that isn't half true while constantly being wary of players deciding they want to leave for one reason or another is not fun. They haven't even been able to get lucky with the lottery either to alleviate the pain of losing. It's only been the last 2 years where star players have started to commit to the Jackets long term and they've finally started to get some draft luck despite still never winning the lottery.
