You're not going to get a top 5 pick, another first, a guy on a very team friendly deal, two good prospects, AND get OEL gone at the same time.

And OEL and petersson are 15 of them! And that's before you resign pettersson

Right?!?! At the very least remove OEL and the NJ 1st

what if we swapped vlassic for OEL, Vancouver gets one less year of a overpaid 7mil defenseman but sharks have space to make it work cap wise

If he requests a trade that gives SJ plenty of leverage and therefore would not be giving up this much. Horrid idea for SJ to do this during a rebuild especially when Mukhamadullin is looking so good right now. None of this makes sense.

If Elias Pettersson ask for a trade, It's not going to be to a full blown rebuilding team like the Sharks.

And no way does OEL waive his NMC for San Jose.
