It'll take more than Geekie to get Schneider. I think he is definitely a large beneficiary of playing on a team with Savoie and Benson. Plus his production did not go up in his draft+1 year and wasn't anything to write home about. Schneider is a solid NHLer already (whom NYR love) and is the clear cut Trouba replacement when his deal is up.

I don't think Arizona can afford the mortgage payments on that Matthews contract , interest rates are only going up

And why is the Wild trading away their #1 tender for next season? No need for Duda anyway, too many D prospects here already

Drury would say thanks for call but no thanks, Schneider is not available.

Look I'm a wild fan so I don't want them to trade Gus, but where's the cap space? Also MAF has a no-move clause. They're better off just waiting for Wallstedt.

The space will be there, at least for Gus. No way they trade him unless Guerin gets blown away with an offer that includes a cheap top-six talent. Even then I'd rather them fit Gus in with a bridge deal than rush Wallstedt and rely on a 39 year old Flower to be their #1 all season. It doesn't make sense when they are trying to make the playoffs every season during this cap crunch. Gus will be essential for their success next year, much like he was this year.

Your a wild fan, look at profile and it states otherwise. Gus isn't getting so much Minnesota can't afford
