Benning is gone so this deal would never happen. Myers being moved ain't at the cost of moving down and a top 10 1st round pick still on his elc

Montreal can buy out Armia for super cheap and Hoffman retained can return a mid to late pick, Habs pass.

I'll echo my MTL friends here...MTL doesn't need to waste draft capital to get rid of those contracts. They could easily absorb them, or just buy them out for a very friendly caphit.

Canucks will happily keep Podkolzin and the 11th overall. Terrible thought through ACGM

Pls explain the thought process in this Canucks trade. The value seems miles off to me

The only trades that are reasonable are the Ottawa and Islanders deals. Vancouver and Montreal don't pay all that to dump those players. Wild don't need TJ, even half retained - value is probably right- just wrong team. Hawks aren't trading Dickinson with retention for less than a 3rd. Granlund takes two 2nd's to dump. Seabs takes a 6th.

Yeah take out the 1st, Olofsson has his faults but he still can pot up 25gls a year and 40-50pts. I say there both woth late 1sts.

Canucks easily decline, hang up, and block your number. Moving back from 11 to the late teens/early 20's plus giving up Podkolzin is an absurd price to dump Myers.
