Obviously depends on who is there, but draft seems heavier on forwards than defenseman in that range.

Ideally: Dvorsky is available as he is a center with size to actually stay at C. Seems like we draft a lot of "centers" that end up as wingers. If not, Brayden Yager.

If Reinbacher is available, hard to turn down him as well for the D side of things.

Do you think Moore will be gone when we pick? Or you prefer those two Cs over him?

My view on the draft is:
1: Bedard
2-4: Fantilli/Michkov/Carlsson
5-8: Smith/Benson/Moore

Not necessarily in the order listed but in those groupings.

I think Moore and Reinbacher may be off the board, if that’s the case I would look at Leonard. Hopefully someone like Benson drops to that spot. I think if musty is still on the board around~18 that he’s a must (no pun in intended) draft (ie the Blues need to trade up for that pick.) Caden Price is the defender I’d most be willing to stick my neck out for in the late first.

In this draft specifically where there’s more high end Cs I think definitely take a C

BPA always and forever. I haven't researched this draft very much but I don't know if any of the D besides Reinbacher are projectable enough to take at #10. There are D with upside but I think they can take swings later on. I've been a big Oliver Moore fan but he's been rising up the public boards lately. Honestly my approach is going to be not to overreact - the last few drafts I haven't agreed with their pick and then the DY+1 season proves me wrong.

i think we should try and get a high end defenseman like pelllikka or reinbacher potentially but i bet they take moore if he falls

Honestly, I’m not a blues fan, but would you guys trade down a few spots to take Honzek? I think he’s a great player you could get.
