Ticketmaster doesnt have that restriction, stubbhub too, plus private resallers and scalpers.
AND the snowbirds all have US addresses.

Like I just switched by ticketmaster account to US and got ticket access. (Didnt end up getting them, cant make it work frown schedule wise)

I pretty much universally disagree with all of Kipper’s take but this one actually makes some sense.




No team is out bidding TOR, it’s how much are they willing to spend. Kyle has bet on himself and could make out like a bandit if TOR goes on a long run. Another deciding factor could be does he want a larger role, President?

I don’t really see Shany going anywhere but a President-Dubas GM-Spezza relationship at some point could be cool.

I was really worried about Samsonov heading into the game but man!! He was solid, actually more than solid, I have to admit, he has to be series MVP. Without him the Leafs don't win.

So happy for alot of people right now. Matthew Knies, man this kid!! He did alot of little things that were big time all game long but especially on that game winner.

A special shoutout to Liliejgren, Gustafsson and Bunting just because it's not easy at all to be sitting healthy and not playing (especially 2 weeks!!) but then having asked to come in and play mistake free and be difference makers in different ways.

Morgan Rielly was incredible in this series and please, give me MORE OF THAT going forward.

I'm happy for guys here as well, it's tough being a Leafs fan but not right ****ing now!! 😎


Rielly was the sieries MVP IMO... guy's been in absolute beast mode last year's playoffs (remember when he fought 2 guys last year, 1 right after the other) and again this year. I agree sammy was spectacular when we needed him and he certainly was the better goalie in the sieries which isn't easy to do when going up against Vas.

I agree with you and have long been a fan of Rielly's effort level come playoffs. Even in years previous years where we've lost, Rielly has been the most consistent in terms of effort. Also it's nice to see all the big boys putting up points. That used to be a huge criticism of the Leafs in the playoffs as well. Can't wait to watch them in round 2!

Rielly doesnt like media spotlight apparently when they were deciding he said he didnt want it. He prefers the assistant status but we all know hes the honorary Captain. As his nickname Captain MO is a thing

JT I believe is the perfect captain rn. Then when hes done give it to Matthews who hopefully would have signed his 8 year deal

As Matthews still has some growing to do but has shown he is moving in the right direction

Not for a while yet, I think Dubas wants to build a dynasty. And when Shanahan retires, he'll move to president. But it's years away yet.

I think our big boys just want it more. They are not going to be denied and that's what needs to happen if you are going to win.

The McCabe-Brodie pairing was hardmatched as a shutdown line against the point-Kucherov line.
They (+Sammy) totally shut them down. The sub par #s are to be expected from a workload like that.

They were extremely effective in their role
