No they shouldn't. They already have enough centers with the ones you've listed plus the others (prospects included). Draisatl is a fantastic player sure, but the sabres shouldn't be involved at that cost.

Power is not at all replaceable and draisaitl is up for a new deal very soon and will need a new deal taking him into his mid to late 30s at like 12 million a year

Horrendous for buffalo

You'll quickly regret ever you did here, ROR is not close to Dria, RNH had an outlier year in production (because of Dria) won't happen with ROR. Even Ken Holland couldn't make this team more worse than you just did. Edmonton should be tinkering on the edges that's it, maybe move on from Yamamato and Ceci and replace both players with depth players to free up space, adding ROR great idea, moving Dria to do so is a bad idea

I didn't add O'Reilly to replace Drai and his production. That's impossible for O'Reilly

Agree with most of this, but you can't replace a top-6 forward and a 1st pairing defenseman with "depth guys".

Yamamoto isn't a top 6 forward, he's a middle 6 guy that can jump up the line up in a pinch, Ceci is not a top pair dman, has never been one will never be one. He may play on Edmonton's top pair but he is by no means a top pair guy. Ceci is and will forever be 5/6 guy.

The fact is Yamamoto DOES play top-6 and Ceci DOES play 1st pairing. Therefore you can't replace them with depth guys.

OK, Draisaitl would certainly look good in a Sabre Uniform and that is very fair price, the Sabres would probably pass on the deal.
A simple examination of the Buffalo line up will reveal who will be on the team in the future.
Players drafted by Buffalo: Dahlin, Samuelsson, Bryson, Quinn, Peterka, Olofsson, Girgensons, Luukkonen, Cozens, Power, Mittelstadt, Levi
Players who want to play in Buffalo: Okposo, Tuch, Skinner
Players who played no more than one year for another team: Krebs, Jokiharju, Thompson
Players who played for Granato in the past: Greenway and HInostroza
Stillman, Lyubushkin, Jost, Comrie, Clague are the only players who do not fit in any of those catagory, five out of twenty six.
IMO that trend will continue, keep the culture in house and do not add too many outside influences.
Draisaitl does not fit into any of those catagories, DeBrincat and Matthwes on the other hand? They played for Granato in Chicago for two years or the U.S. National Under-18 Team.
Jack Eichel also played with Don but he is a special case.
