CHI does not value or want UPL. But, Murphy to BUF trades have been discussed quite a bit on here and I'm sure CHI and BUF could figure something out, if BUF truly is interested.

100% agreed that UPL has zero value to the Hawks. We're focused on our (3) goalies prospects already in the AHL/NHL. the PHI 2023 is a given that so far just about everyone agrees needs to be in this trade. I'd be ok with Rosen or Kulich though. Or even another 2nd round pick. Just UPL isn't happening.

No way Kulich is involved, could see the 2nd and something else.

Isak Rosen, Philly 2nd, and Jacob Bryson (to massage a little cap and go RHD in and out for both.....but you are more than welcome to move his elsewhere as he is not going to be viewed as an asset)

for

Murphy & Dallas 3rd would be my counter offer.

UPL might have value to someone, it just won't be to the Hawks who are farily set in net for both NHL & AHL and not in a move that diminishes the return for Murphy.

Def not Rosen. Maybe Poltapov or another 2nd
There are comparable UFAs available (Gudas/Mayfield) and younger trade options (Borgen/Fabbro)

Think the Hawks would want Rosen if they are going to entertain taking back a prospect thats not their own pick. Thats primarily due to his strong skating ability and top 6 potential.

Failing the inclusion of Rosen, I would think CHI would want a 1st rather than (2) 2nds.

Man I just don’t think they are going to get that tho. Maybe a 1st from a Boston/Vegas/Carolina level team which is 26+, but not a growing team like BUF. I think 40OA and another 2nd is probably comparable value.

If Rosen is involved, there has to be a pick coming back to BUF

Totally agree with that is where BUF is coming from and if this were to be a legitimate trade call then I think the outcome would lie somewhere between what we both want.

Your idea of a pick coming back with Rosen + 2nd could be valid though would need to determine what round or if a player needing a change would suffice.
