Description

Flyers don't get the return they want for Provanov but considering his drop in play and years left in contract they do acquire a couple players to help with thier rebuild/ReTool and someone who can help replace Provanov's minutes on the backend.

Garland as the best player in the trade could end up being a key top 6 player for the flyers or potentially a trade piece for more building blocks.

Canucks fans won't be happy moving on from either Garland or Hoglander but Provanov is likely a gamble they would be willing to take to rebuild thier backend. This moves clears enough cap to sign a legit 3C.
