I don't know how I feel about that Detroit trade. I hate the idea is trading that first but I like Ehlers. Not a bad trade, that package likely gets Debrincat too and I'm not sure who I would want more.

The Jackets might be interested in Dillon, but not at that price. Ideally they probably need someone with 2 or maybe even 3 years of term left.

I really like Ehlers too but its an overpay. Debrincat is also better, younger and has less issues with injuries. If the NYI 1st was swapped with the Boston 1st, id be ok with it.
