Every vacancy that gets filled before playoffs end means we are one step closer to bring Andrew Brunette (and his golf cart) back to NJ next year.

(Calgary was one of the teams that could have stole him)

Brunette isn’t even a good coach anyways

As an assistant he might be (I havent heard anything about him) but as a head coach, he sucks

I'm genuinely curious, what makes you say that?

Maybe you have him mixed up with someone else?

He is clearly demonstrated an ability to improve offense as an assistant.
And in his one season as a Head Coach, he was a Jack Adams finalist.
This year, he has been a huge part of NJD improvement.

Is this really the direction the NHL wants to go in? Allowing a convicted felon and drug dealer to own a hockey team?

I doubt they really care about his criminal record. I mean, after all, they have let worse people own sports teams.

> they let John Spano buy the Islanders with money that didn't exist

> Harold Ballard was thrown in jail for tax evasion and let a child abuse ring operate under his watch, and wasn't forced to sell

> Bill Wirtz didn't have a criminal record or anything, but he was just an *sshole who ruined the team he ran

If anything, Snoop is good for this sport.

At least he is a fan of the sport. And has since become a born-again Christian. No reason for me to judge (After all ,one of NJD owners slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars).
