Not entirely convinced you could say the big boys showed. Nylander got an extremely lucky bounce and Marner's long shot went in through a huge traffic.

Granted that was enough to win tonight, but I think this goes to more on FLA playing their worst game of these playoffs rather than big boys showing up. Pretty quiet all around still.

Marner had a pretty decent game all round. Even if you take the goal out of it he was good. The game he played the other night he seemed to sao the momentum out of the game every time he was on the ice.

Marner was throwing his weight around this game and Nylander was flying. JT and Matthews also had their moments. They looked better than they did the last 2 games thats for sure

There has been under 3 minutes left in this game for like 10 minutes, the refs keep handing out penalties. I really like how physical the Oilers have been in this game thats how playoff hockey should be, they need to wear them down and get into there heads and like Kane said make sure they know if you F around your gonna find out

I don't mind them as long as they aren't animated.
Save the paint and switch them during stoppages, fine. I don't want a car driving by in the middle of play. That's just obnoxious.

Toronto found the shadowrealm. Nearly as many blocked shots as shots again.

Now their shooting percentage needs to creep towards where it has been historically and they will reverse sweep.

Do you all think Petro should catch a sus?



I approve of captains doing evil things when they have to. It’s the job. It’s nice that it’s the captain doing it and not the goon squad. Similar to Stamkos when he brought Matthews into the fight. I respect Pietrangelo more because of what occurred even though stick majors are for losers. At least he did something.

Maybe my opinion/guess is 1 game, highly motivated by the optics of the over the head away from puck part of it.

No respect should be given for that slash. That is not leadership (at least not in a good/competitive way). If he delivered a solid body check maybe but not that hack job. If he stood up McDavid or Draisatl and then packed their **** then sure send a message but not what he did.
