If they can't get past the second round, I'd say his contract isn't renewed. Ownership seems like they have high expectations, especially when you have four star players

To be honest, even if the Leafs got eliminated in the 1st round, I did not want Dubas gone. He clearly did all he could and iced a very good team. Leafs still have picks and have a few decent prospects also. I don't like every move he has made (RIP Kadri and Sandin) but overall he has done a great job.

I strongly doubt Dubas is gone. If the Leafs get rid of him, I think it will be a mistake and a team will be lucky to scoop him up.

Even if they lost in the 1st round the Leafs would keep him.
