I see the Canucks as potential suitors for Trouba as a partner for Quinn Hughes, maybe Myers, a prospect, and a couple picks (no 1sts) for Trouba could work.

Canucks fans can't handle 8M for Miller, they will spontaneously combust if we do the same for the better version of Myers.

    Would need to be a 2nd + 3rd + decent prospect I think

Love Trouba but I'm not giving up a 1st for him. A 2nd and 3rd is fine to take his 8 mil off your cap. We'll throw in prospect Mastrosimone who isn't signing with Detroit.

    I'd be fine with that, 2025 2nd, 2023 3rd, 2023 4th & Klimovich for Trouba

So many underachieving players... You've maybe got to blame the coaching staff and give the players a pass?

Canes have their own big contracts to give out next offseason. Can't see them taking on over 11 mil especially for a player getting into his 30's.

Trouba to Detroit could work, but that contract is way too much, so it's going to be for a lot less than a 1st.

With the Canes upcoming cap crunch in 24-25, they won’t be chasing a 11 million dollar panarin. We would be more likely to want Laf

Guhle is a no fly zone. He will be their rock on the blueline for the next 10-15 years. Dont need another failed Quebecois that plays without pace, had that with Drouin.

We did the whole French Canadian for a D move already by doing Drouin for Sergachev. That worked out horribly…doubt we do the same especially when Guhle is more of a known commodity than Sergachev was at the time

Wings pass, too big of a cap hit and too much going back for a player who doesn't fit the wings timeline

LOL Trouba's already made it abundantly clear that he will never ever play in Canada ever again, And where Trouba goes will depend on where his Australian/American wife decides to do her Dr practice. And it sure as hell won't be in Canada.

Trouba is at least $2,000,000 overpaid, No way is Detroit giving up a 1st round pick for him. Maybe a 2nd and 3rd round pick is more than a fair offer for him.

Trouba isn't waiving for any Canadian team ever again, He made that perfectly clear. Plus his wife can't do her practice in Canada. That's why he left Winnipeg for the States.

Nobody needs high dollar fourth liners. Which is why you’ll likely have to pay to move Goodrow’s salary

I agree... I would rather have Alexis Lafrenière at like a $1-3m cap hit than Panarin for $11m
