Rangers don't have the cap space for Elias Lindholm next summer, And they sure as heck aren't moving K'Andre Miller for a 28 year old 2C.

Exaclty, Plus the Rangers already have Zibanejad and Trocheck as their 1C and 2C respectively. So they're not going to pay Lindholm 8 x 8 to play 3C.

Toffoli hasn't had less than 20 goals a season since 2018, that includes two partial covid seasons. He's extraordinarily consistent and helps at both ends of the ice at a sweet heart cap hit. Of all the trades there the Toffoli one is glaringly off, the other ones could be worked a little bit but they're likely close. Barclay Goodrow doesn't really do anything for Calgary, Miller is a great piece but I would rather run Weegar, Hanifin Kylington down the left as Weegar and Andersson were an elite pairing when they were together. Zadorov, fine, don't know if the Flames move on from a guy that wants to stay right now but I wouldn't mind it and Valdar would hopefully get a 3rd but I have a hard time seeing that. Calgary won't be looking in the goalie market if they move Vladar.

Toffoli is worth more/better then that but the Jets are going nowhere, they're better off keeping their assets and build towards the future.
