LOL both Bertuzzi and Orlov get 6 x 6 minimally.

Don't see Hall waiving for the NYI, That team is a mess.

And fat chance of RNH waiving for Boston, And Ullmark and Grzelcyk don't cut it.

Right now the Islanders have 13 forwards under contract for next season plus RFA Oliver Wahlstrom, and only $6 million in cap space (not including Oliver Wahlstrom's new cap hit) for three roster slots, so I find it hard to see how they could absorb Taylor Hall's $6 million tab.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins took a discount to stay in Edmonton, so I doubt that he waives his NMC.

Isles need to add a top line forward, but not Taylor Hall. Also I see Bertuzzi getting Rackell money.

Yeah they just need a team that can score, if Bertuzzi was willing to sign for Rakell money. He'd already be re-signed back with Detroit not a pending UFA this summer.

With his injury history and the controversy which surrounds him, I don’t see him getting six tbh.

Any GM that's going to make an offer to him, I say good luck. Bertuzzi and his agent can be the most difficult people to deal with. Just ask Stevie Y.

Bert is all about maxing out AAV and term so I definitely think his agent is shopping him. He and Yzerman barely talked during the season because Stevie wasn't comfortable giving him term. His injury history speaks for itself.

I'm just guessing here but I believe Bert thought he deserved the same contract Larkin got. Yzerman was never going to give him that.

So while Bert kept saying how much he loved Detroit and that he wanted to re-sign with the Red Wings...

In the end it was always about showing him the term and money. I love Bert the player but I don't believe his new contract will age well. I hope I'm wrong.

Even with the UFA tax, I don't think he's going to get a Larkin deal.

Maybe Verbeek is willing to take a chance on some term with him, certainly his kind of player. Bert and Zegras on the same line would be feisty.

I'd love to see Bert in Anaheim. Ducks certainly have the need and the cap space. And yes, he's definitely a Verbeek kind of player. He compliments star players very well. Does all the grunt work and he protects them.

Yep, assuming Henrique isn't kept around, we have no top 6 LW and only 1.5 top 6 RW, draft dependant of course.

Bert gets much more than that in FA unfortunately, Orlov and Hathaway walk, not worth longer term extensions

BOS shouldnt have interest in Toews, he also doesnt sign for that price

EDM doesnt need LD or Goalie, and as nice as it would be, RNH aint available

You're going to need to cough up draft picks to get rid of Forbort and Reilly.

Goaltending is one of Edmonton's weakness but no way do they give up a 100pt player who is a leader and can play multiple positions.

Vezina winner for a great forward but lot of his points are because hes on that powerplay.

Toews is probably a reach but itd be nice for him to go cheap to play less minutes just to be more of a leadership role and get himself another cup.

Hathaway is great for his price, dont mind keeping him around.

Orlov probably worth more but he might like the boston group considering hes played pretty well here and take a bit of a discount in order to be on a solid team.

Bert fits with the team we should do whatever we can to keep him. Plays well in the playoffs and compliments pastrnak well.

Hathaway is replaceable and for a cheaper price

Still dont see EDM trading RNH especially when they already have 2 goalies

Toews at that price wouldnt be terrible

Orlov at 32yo isnt worth a long term extension for his price

Very much agree with extended Bert, but BOS cant afford him

they mean less when your powerplay consists of the top two players in the world and RNH leads the league in second assists in 2022-2023 💀 . RNH hit a 100 points but hes not a 100 point player.
