If that is what DeBrincat will sign for, he's staying in Ottawa.

Ottawa declines.

You are about to get crushed with "Ottaway declines" for that offer...

That offer for DeBrincat would be beat, LOL Debrincat isn't signing for 8 x $7,500,000 Good luck he's not taking anything less than 8 x $8,000,000 to 8 x $8,500,000.

unfortunately Ottawa doesn't have a choice he's gonna take a 1 year from ottawa and walk in FA, so Ottawa wouldn't even have the chance to sign him to that gg tho

$9M QO btw

Yeah his QO is $9M and you honestly think that he's going to sign for 8 x $7.5M? He's not taking anything less than 8 x $8.5M or 8 x $9.0M period.

A QO is only for one year, so yeah, a lot of guys take less than their QO for term. He had a bad year and has never shown he can really be the number one driving offensive force on a line. He finished 4th on the Sens in points and goals, is that not concerning?

He's 25 and was the benefactor of Patrick Kane with Chicago, His realistic norm might be what he put up in Ottawa who knows. Cant see him taking anything less than 8 x $8,000,000 minimally.

1.) Eff Pat Kane.
2.) We aren't paying Debrincat when we have to pay dahlin and power
3.) We had 4 30 goal scorers and a 28 goal scorer, we aren't trading for debrincat.

I love how you fly off the handle over like 500k a year.

Buffalo has no interest in him anyways

What offer? Who is giving up more than that for him?

Buffalo would be insane to do this

That's a very good offer for DeBrincat. Getting a 13th overall pick, a 45th overall pick and a 25 goal scorer is a fantastic package.

Last year he was traded for 7, 39, and a future 3rd. Not great year, a year older, less control, and this offer is 13, 45, and VO. With the perceived draft classes being in the 2023 classes favor, one could argue that Ott would be getting more for him than they gave up. I highly doubt this offer gets beat, and highly doubt Buffalo would consider giving this package up.
